NOD32 is the best i've tried, barely notice it running, and a very stable application. I also use ClamAV on my Linux machine its ok, but no active scan as tenetke points out. I would be using Nod32 on that machine also, but buying 2 copies seems outrageous since only 1 person uses it. You can make one purchase of nod32 for several machines that run the same type of os (Vista, XP, 2000 etc) but if you also own a Mac or Linux then you must buy more. The price is about $40/yearly, which isn't bad for one of the best virus protection systems currently available. Also much less bloat, and not an OS destroyer like Norton or McAfee is now.
